I haven't been too productive this winter. I began making jewlery made out of type writer keys. Now I've got old type writers all over the place and need to get started on my summer collection. I've got enough blanks to last me well through this year, as I've been buying anything in sight, but not really doing anything with it. My wife, Nelly, picks stuff up from a store close to her job so that adds to the stock as well. It took me 3 full mashine loads to pre-scrub it all. I've also got boxes full of thick white cotton and linen from grandmas old beadspreads, table cloths and other fabrics. I'm thinking of going into sewing... after all, tomorrow IS another day.

Wow, I just finished my new interface on www.tie-dye.de and I love it. It looks like a stargate with a black background. Don't take my word for it, check it out!

I also finally got some equipment from the US to start making type writer keys jewlery. Strange- I used to work for a company that made and sold computer keyboards. It must be in my blood.

Besides using the keys I have some groovy ideas so check bak and see.

I finally got the sample I have been waiting for for so long. OK, so it's been standing around for some time, but with the kids on their summer break I haven't had too much time to try it out. I still have to send out a few samples of the color myself. If you ordered a sample - don't worry - I haven't forgotten. I have been trying to get some small baggies, so I can send the dyes in envelopes. Stay tuned!

So here I am, blogging away Tie-Dye-wise. I had a private one way back, but it was hosted by a few friends who said it would no longer be safe, since their server was just about to go down. Bummer. So check in every now and then.

I just re-did my index-page of my www.tie-dye.de page. It doesn't look all that great, but it should do it's job. It's all in German, but you can choose the language once you enter the shop. There I offer English an German. I'll make a new entrance index page where you can choose the language -- eventually.

I've been slacking on making new dresses. The weather here is so bad, that I'm afraid summer is over. Low temps are bad for curing and I'd be making the dresses for next year's summer season. Oh well... I'm looking for long sleeved T-shirts now. People here like them and they don't suck up as much dye as sweatshirts do.

1:20 AM, so I better get to bed.
